These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Mathemagician Academy (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are a parent or legal guardian, you must consent to your child’s use and are responsible for their account and activity.

  • Eligibility: For children, a parent/guardian must approve account creation.
  • Accuracy: Provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential.
  • Security: Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
3) Acceptable Use
  • Use the Service for lawful, educational purposes.
  • No harassment, cheating, reverse engineering, or attempts to disrupt the platform.
  • Respect the privacy and safety of other learners.
4) Subscriptions & Payments (if applicable)
  • Fees, billing cycles, and cancellations will be stated at checkout.
  • Some features may be free; premium plans (if any) will be clearly labelled.
  • Taxes and currency conversions may apply based on your location.
5) Content & Intellectual Property
  • All materials, logos, and code are owned by Mathemagician Academy or its licensors.
  • You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service.
  • Do not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works without permission.
6) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
  • The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not responsible for any loss, scam, or harm suffered by users due to the actions of other users or third parties.
  • We are not liable for lost data, interruption, or third-party issues beyond our control.
7) Termination
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violating these Terms.
  • You may stop using the Service at any time; you can also request data deletion.
8) Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by applicable laws in your region. If you are in Nigeria, Nigerian law applies. Local consumer protections remain unaffected.

  • Account Info: name, username, role (pupil/teacher/parent), parent email (for child accounts).
  • Learning Activity: quiz scores, badges, time spent, progress.
  • Device/Usage: IP address, device type, app version, crash logs.
  • Optional: profile avatar or display name (if enabled by a parent/teacher).
2) How We Use Information
  • Provide and personalise learning experiences and recommendations.
  • Sync progress across devices and enable class/teacher dashboards.
  • Maintain safety, prevent fraud, and improve performance.
  • Communicate important updates to parents/teachers (e.g., progress summaries).
3) Children’s Privacy & Parental Consent
  • Child accounts require verifiable consent from a parent/guardian or a school acting in the place of a parent for educational use.
  • Parents can review, update, or delete their child’s information by contacting us.
  • We do not show interest-based ads to children or sell children’s personal data (It means kids won’t see ads that are chosen based on what they like, watch, or do online).
4) When We Share Information
  • Service Providers: hosting, analytics, support tools—bound by confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
  • School Integrations (optional): if your school connects the app to their systems, we share the minimum necessary data.
  • Legal: if required by law, to protect safety, or to enforce our Terms.
  • We do not sell personal information.
5) Cookies & Similar Technologies
  • Essential cookies for login and session security.
  • Optional analytics to improve content difficulty and app performance.
